SAVINOR and Trofa's City Council are united by the Water and Forest Week

As part of the Water and Forest Week, SAVINOR, a partner of the Trofa City Council, developed an awareness campaign on the importance of water.

During three days two workshops on water were boosted. For this purpose, two play stories were created, called "Water Adventure" and "Precious Drops", for kindergarten students. Through experiments, the little ones learned about water, its importance, as well as some "alerts" to transmit to their parents about water preservation. In addition to these two pedagogical moments, SAVINOR also contributed with the awarding of prizes for the contest "Protect the Forest from Fire", launched by the City Council to the kindergarten students.

The works of these students were exhibited on 18 March at the House of Culture of Trofa, and the award ceremony was held on that same day. Renato Pinto Ribeiro, Head of the Division of Municipal Works and Environment - Eng. Ana Barreto, ASVA- Eng Marlene and the Chief Fireman - Filipe Coutinho, presented the awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
